Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Full Stack Engineer II to work remotely for a client out of the Kansas City area. This person will join a team of 3 developers helping to rewrite and existing application in the banking space. This application is a marketplace for banks to buy and sell funds and has both internal and external visibility. The application is writing in python on the backend and React on the front end. The first deliverable for the application is to build out REST APIs and then from there the team will be tackling the web app side. The ideal candidate will be 50/50 backend and front end but the client is willing to be flexible to 60/40 either way. The application is hosted in AWS so knowledge of AWS or any other cloud environment is highly preferred. This person will come on as a Developer II and will be primarily an individual contributor with some responsibilities including mentorship and code review of the Developer I team members. This is a remote opportunity with travel every quarter to Kansas City for team events and meetings.
