RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop features and improvements to the product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way
Craft code that meets our internal standards, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale enterprise environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code reviews
Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance
Solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
Confidently ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects
Job Qualifications
RequiredProven experience in:
Professional experience in software development
Proficiency in Python
Experience with CI/CD tooling
Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems
Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions
Experience owning a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution
A Bachelors or Master’s degree (Or Equivalent Professional Experience) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
PreferredExperience developing and deploying production software
Strong proficiency in either React or Angular for front-end development
Experience with either FastAPI or Django for back-end development
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services
Experience with cloud native development on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud
Leverage CI/CD tooling and familiar working in a Platform Engineering environment
Ability to communicate technical concepts to teammates and non-technical colleagues
