Job Description We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a focus on AI-driven product development, capable of designing and implementing both front-end (including mobile applications) and backend systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—spanning Business, IT, and AI specialists—to ensure seamless integration of AI technologies into our existing or modernized platforms. Your role will involve creating robust, scalable solutions that deliver tangible value to both internal and external stakeholders.

While the organization focuses on AI model development, your primary responsibilities will include building and maintaining end-to-end systems—from backend infrastructure and APIs to mobile and web interfaces. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in modern cloud services, familiarity with AI or chatbot integrations, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Full Stack & Mobile Development

Design and develop responsive web and mobile applications (iOS/Android) that interface with backend AI services.

Implement user-friendly, scalable, and secure features using modern frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin).

Ensure front-end/mobile components integrate seamlessly with backend APIs and microservices

2. Backend Infrastructure & API Design

Architect and implement scalable backend services that support AI-based applications and solutions.

Design APIs and microservices to facilitate secure and efficient communication between AI services, mobile apps, and other system components.

Demonstrate expertise in at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure), leveraging services optimized for AI workloads.

3. AI Integration & Real-Time Processing

Work with AI teams to understand model integration requirements, setting up inference endpoints and ensuring efficient request handling.

Integrate chatbots and other AI features into front-end/mobile applications to deliver a seamless user experience.

Employ real-time or streaming data solutions (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub) for low-latency AI use cases, where relevant.

4. Data Pipeline & Integration

Collaborate with Data Engineers to establish data pipelines (batch and streaming) that feed into AI systems.

Ensure data flow, transformation, and storage meets the needs of AI and analytics use cases.

Implement data governance, privacy, and compliance measures (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) when necessary.

5. System Deployment & Cloud Integration

Deploy full-stack solutions on modern cloud platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.

Utilize DevOps methodologies (CI/CD, containers, orchestration) to optimize deployments and streamline release cycles.

Containerize services using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes (or similar tools) where appropriate.

6. Performance Monitoring & Optimization

Continuously assess both front-end and backend performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve scalability and responsiveness.

Optimize APIs, databases, and other resources for real-time AI use cases—considering concurrency, caching, and load balancing.

Implement monitoring and logging frameworks to track AI inference rates, latency, and error metrics in production.

7. Security & Privacy

Implement secure coding and data handling practices across the stack to protect sensitive information and assets.

Stay updated on industry standards and regulations, ensuring compliance in both mobile and backend deployments.

Incorporate privacy-by-design principles to safeguard data throughout the AI lifecycle.

8. Software Development

Write clean, maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and create detailed documentation for front-end, mobile, and backend components.

Manage collaboration using version control (Git) and issue-tracking tools (Jira, GitHub Issues).

9. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into functional, AI-driven features.

Mentor junior team members and participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Keep abreast of emerging technologies, frameworks, and cloud services to continually enhance the technology stack.

10. Support & Troubleshooting

Provide technical support for production issues, troubleshooting and resolving performance or reliability challenges across mobile, front-end, and backend systems.

Maintain incident response processes and contribute to post-incident reviews for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

3+ years of professional experience in full stack development (front-end + backend).

Mobile development experience (native iOS/Android or cross-platform frameworks such as React Native, Flutter).

Demonstrable success delivering high-quality, scalable services in a cloud environment (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

AI & Chatbot Integration

Experience integrating chatbots or working with AI/ML teams.

Familiarity with model serving concepts, inference endpoints, or NLP frameworks is preferred.

Programming Languages & Tools

Proficiency in frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue) and mobile (Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter) technologies.

Strong backend language skills (e.g., Python, Go, Java).

Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.

Portfolio

Evidence of past full stack development projects or contributions, including relevant code samples and, if possible, mobile applications.
