Full Stack Engineer Overview

This position offers you the opportunity to work with public agency IT teams in Singapore to support their IT digitization strategy and roadmap. What will you be doing?

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be an integral part of an agency’s IT project team, working alongside Product/Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Technical Services Consultants (where applicable). Your contributions will support Singapore’s vision of a Smart Nation through the development of innovative digital solutions.

Experience & Skills Required Experience: 3-5 years Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop modern full-stack web applications with:

Frontend: React, HTML5, JavaScript

Backend: Python, Node.js, Flask, SQL/NoSQL

Implement microservices architecture and backend APIs.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, following DevOps and secure coding best practices.

Utilize cloud-native services such as AWS Lambda, S3, and Fargate, along with containerization (Docker).

Write automated tests and ensure code quality using tools like Selenium, Karma, and Mocha.

Collaborate with QA, product managers, and UI/UX teams to deliver high-quality products.

Experience working in agile teams (SCRUM) and applying modern Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.

Ability to lead squads, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to long-term technical roadmaps.

Passion for delivering impactful public service products that drive digital transformation.
