The Full-Stack Engineering Lead is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology and Product team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis, programming activities, and deployment functions as well as champion and grow our engineering practices. **Responsibilities:** + Apply depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with stakeholders on a regular basis + Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements + Design, develop and engineer solutions within an Agile software delivery team, working to collaboratively deliver sprint goals, write code, and participate in the broader Citi technical community and team-level Agile and Scrum processes + Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency). + Lead the design, documentation, and development of world-class enterprise applications leveraging the latest technologies and software design patterns. + Owner mentality, taking responsibility and ensuring that assigned initiatives and products are completed as expected. + Leverage technical knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues, as necessary. + Champion and consistently improve technical and team standards. + Collaborate technical leadership to achieve established goals, in line with our broader technical **Qualifications:** + 6+ years of professional experience in React and Typescript with a deep understanding of practical front-end development best practices + 6+ years of professional experience in NodeJS + 6+ years experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with APIs, ensuring seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems. + Practical understanding and experience with software engineering best practices (unit testing, automation, design patterns, peer review, etc.) + Experience of Data Structures and Object-Oriented Principles using NodeJS + Experience mentoring and providing technical feedback to fellow developers + Ability to work independently and as part of a global team, managing workloads effectively and meeting project goals. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience utilizing and enhancing on-premise and Cloud Jira through ScriptRunner, Roadmap, Automation for Jira, etc. + Experience within role of Scrum Master or Product Manager. + Track record of simplifying complex and straightforward technical solutions into business terms. **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience + Master’s degree preferred ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Technology ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Systems & Engineering ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location:** Jacksonville Florida United States ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:** $113,840.00 - $170,760.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
