HOW BEING A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Customer is seeking a proficient, detail-oriented, innovative UI Developer to design websites with functionality and aesthetics in mind. The UI Developer will work with Back-End Developers and Data Engineers to ensure that the website is optimized for several devices and presented in an attractive way. The successful UI Developer candidate will have excellent knowledge of Java, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. In addition to this, you must be able to work well within a software development team.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.Experience: 10+ yearsTechnical Skills:Front End Skills: Single Page Applications (ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML), Responsive DesignBack End Skills: Microservices, REST, Node.js, JVM (Java - Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.), Database (Postgres, MySQL, etc.).Build Tools: maven, gradle, grunt, gulp, git, tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Java/J2EE/ products,Documented Experience with DevOps, CI/CD RoutineDocumented Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS)Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systemsTranslate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworksImplement the product's lifecycle: Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenanceDevelop and adhere to best-practices for developing applicationsContinuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaborationAbility to solve problems creatively and effectivelyExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development processSecurity Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with PolygraphPreferred Skills:Front End Skills: Angular, SalesforceDocumented Experience with Amazon Web Services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.) Docker, Ansible.Documented Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, KubernetesExcellent skills in RDBMS DB Schema design and SQL developmentLocation: Chantilly, VA customer site
