Find your place in technology on #TeamAmex. **How will you make an impact in this role?** + Lead with a strong group of full stack engineers. + Design features, solve problems, debug, document and develop software and systems that meet the needs of internal users. + Maintain platform health through uplifts, vulnerability remediation, and ensuring enterprise resiliency. + Use modern technology stacks to enable build at scale, high-quality delivery and automated deployment. + Build in quality and leverage a Dev Ops mindset to improve operational efficiency. + Adopt a collaborative approach to strategic discussions, thinking outside of the box, and challenging the status-quo. + Take proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks. + Lead the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across development, test, and production environments. + Function as a technical leader on an Agile team by providing technical expertise, thought leadership, and contributing to technical delivery through consistent engineering practices (usage of enterprise tools, reusable components, and technical documentation). + Hands-on engineering expertise in developing complex, large scale enterprise applications. + Responsible for technical aspects of software engineering for assigned applications including design, developing prototypes, and coding assignments. + Partners with customers and other internal teams and technical product managers to deliver improvements to the platform. + Apply specialized knowledge of industry standards or practices to assigned initiatives to identify complex or broad problems and formulate recommendations. + Collaborate with leadership across teams to define solutions and technical implementations to drive software maturity and practices. + Provide technical mentorship to software engineers at all levels. + Drive both high-level and detailed technical designs and conduct design reviews as needed. + Implement new, highly scalable platform components. + Improve and maintain existing components of the core platform.  + Employ technical expertise to help team members overcome technical problems. + Maintain health and quality of the code across the portfolio, including leadership over SCM, functional testing, and CI/CD tool integration. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related field required. + 5 years of paid engineering experience. + 5 years experience building backend applications using NodeJS and backend application frameworks (ExpressJS, NestJS). + 5 years experience coding in JavaScript and frontend frameworks (ReactJS, etc), and libraries (Material UI, Styled, etc) + 5 years experience with xPaaS (Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, ELK stack, Splunk etc.). + 5 years experience with CI/CD tools including GIT, Jenkins, and XLR. + 5 years experience in building fault-tolerant, scalable solutions. + 5 years experience with NoSQL databases (Couchbase, MongoDB, etc). + 5 years experience with enterprise-grade APIs (GraphQL, RESTful API, SOAP, etc.). + 5 years experience with data exchange schemas (JSON, XML, etc.) + 5 years experience using Service Oriented Architecture design principles, implementationpatterns, and hosting platforms (Red Hat OpenShift, AWS, GCP, etc) + 5 years experience in diagnosing, resolving, and preventing the recurrence of system outages. + 5 years experience mentoring junior engineers. + 5 years experience identifying, evaluating, and treating software vulnerabilities. **Preferred Qualifications** + 8 years of active engineering experience in a complex environment and/or comparable experience such as successful engineering and deployment of enterprise-grade technology assets in an Agile product environment. + Knowledge of omni-channel design patterns and reusability considerations. + Experience in building fault-tolerant, scalable solutions. + Proficient in cross-platform integration. + Advanced engineering skill with wide-ranging experience; able to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.  + Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines with independent judgment. + Passion for learning new technologies, industry trends and deep technical curiosity. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Advanced degree **Qualifications** Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually bonus benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
