As an Agile Developer, you will be a part of the software development team that will work on critical Freddie Mac accounting and reporting services. You will be engaging with a project team that’s comprised of likeminded full stack agile software developers, all working together to enhance and modernize the capabilities of these systems.

Your Impact:
Understand User Stories, participate in Analysis, design applications based on System User Stories and Architecture, prototype if necessary, develop, unit test and deploy the application.
Build Micro Services based solutions using Java/JEE frameworks, Docker and Open Shift or AWS managed Kubernetes. Newly created Micro Services will replace legacy Java/JEE monolithic applications.
Support what you build, which includes providing fixes to production defects. Quickly evaluate defects, investigate cause and come up with solutions to remediate.
Support building Micro Services practice within the team.
Build UIs using Angular, CSS/SCSS and HTML
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired; advanced degree preferred
5-7 or more years of experience working in Agile, Lean/Kanban, or Scrum based Agile organization. Proven ability to use Lean/Agile delivery practices to improve teams, quality, and reliability
Experience applying TDD, BDD, and Static Code analysis to improve quality and reliability of delivery
3-5 years of experience in Design and Development of Applications and Web Services using Java EE, Spring / Spring Boot. Python
Java presentation frameworks experience – Angular or similar frameworks
Integration experience using Web Services /REST and EJB preferably on Tomcat.
Experience in code delivery pipelines and experience with Maven, Jenkins, Spinnaker
Preferred experience – MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MicroServices are a plus.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $127,000 - $191,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
