As a Full-Stack Application Engineer in the Data & Analytics department, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our self-serve platform for Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Product Owners. You will design and build scalable analytical applications, leveraging modern development frameworks and cloud-native technologies.

This global role, based in Costa Rica, offers the opportunity to collaborate in a multicultural, geographically dispersed environment, contributing to P&G proprietary technologies while applying industry best practices. Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain web-based applications and end-to-end business solutions using Node.js (TypeScript), Express, and React.js in a cloud-native environment.

Lead the entire application lifecycle, including development, deployment, upgrades, and decommissioning, following Agile and DevOps best practices.

Collaborate with internal technical teams and external vendors to optimize performance, efficiency, and the adoption of new digital business processes.

Stay ahead of emerging digitalization trends and advise on digital strategies, conducting feasibility studies and cost assessments for proposed applications.

Job Qualifications

Must-Have:

4+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on full-stack development.

Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, React.js, and Express.

Strong understanding of Software Engineering Principles and Design Patterns.

Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and/or SQL databases.

Hands-on experience with building and operating cloud-native software.

Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 Web Application Security Risks.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and collaboration abilities.

Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with JavaScript, CSS, SASS, and LESS.

Familiarity with Azure, Active Directory, Docker, Terraform (Bicep, ARM), SonarQube, GitHub, GitKraken, Storybook, Jest, Snyk, and Playwright.
