Weston & Sampson is currently seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Web Application Developer to join our innovative development team. This full stack developer will play a crucial role in developing dynamic, scalable web applications using Angular and JavaScript for internal and external clients. Your expertise in Azure technologies and modern programming languages will drive innovation and ensure high quality user experiences. An extensive understanding of databases and API’s will allow these applications to be integrated with other systems, allowing for full featured applications. This is a hybrid role based out of our Reading, MA office.
What you’ll do:
Design, develop, implement, and support scalable, high-performance web applications using Angular and EXTJS.Implement serverless functions and manage application services using Azure Functions and Azure SWA.Design and manage databases with Azure SQL and MySQL, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.Integrate with various APIs and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver comprehensive integration strategies.Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, development processes, and best practices.Stay updated with new technologies and trends in web development, Azure services, and GIS technologies.If applicable, leverage experience with ArcGIS Online or Enterprise to enhance application mapping and spatial data capabilities.What you will bring:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.3-7 years of full stack development experience, with exposure in all phases.3-7 years proven experience in web development with a focus on Angular applications.Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.Solid understanding and experience with Azure Static Web Apps and Azure Functions.Understanding of MVC frameworksDatabase experience required, preferably MySQL and or Azure SQLGitHub or other source code management experienceDemonstrated experience with RESTful API integration and system integration.Experience with ArcGIS Online or Enterprise is highly desirable.Experience with EXTJS a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and a self-starter, with a strong attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced, production, team-oriented environment.Valid driver’s license#LI-Hybrid
