Job SummaryThe Airport Operations Agent actively monitors inbound and outbound flights, manages data input, serves as a liaison between all service departments, and updates and prepares daily reports on flight activity, including domestic and international schedules.
Responsibilities Coordinating emergency and fuel stops with relevant departments and contractors. Managing gate control and charter gate assignments. Updating schedules to meet aircraft requirements and handling wheelchair requests. Maintaining records of all serviced aircraft and completed services. Monitoring computers, phone calls, and surveillance for operational oversight. Minimum Requirements 6 + months of commercial aviation operational experience High school diploma or GED Valid US Driver's License Ability to learn PC applications and apply knowledge. Ability to communicate in English (Verbal and Written). Reports to work on a regular and timely basis Above average interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to work under pressure. Must be able to work alone and use independent judgment. Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications Excellent clerical and administrative skills. Preferred Skills Must be able to concentrate on detail. Ability to stand and walk for long periods. Write legibly to complete forms and paperwork as required. Familiarity with personal computer software is helpful. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Ability to lift to 35 lbs. Ability to sit for prolonged periods. Ability to stand and walk for long periods. Ability to work in stressful working conditions and under pressure. Ability to work in seasonal and adverse weather conditions for extended periods.
