FULL-TIME JOB OPENING Maintenance – Assistant Lead Electrician

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a Full-Time Assistant Lead Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and reliability of all electrical systems within the theme park. Working closely with the Lead Electrician and under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of electricians and technicians to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations throughout the park. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our thrilling world by providing top-notch electrical support to our rides, attractions, and facilities.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT:

Maintain close personal contact with subordinates for the purpose of planning and coordinating projects. Must have a broad overall knowledge of the craft involved. Shall oversee training and safety within assigned divisions. Coordinate all electrical maintenance as it pertains to rides, facilities, kitchen equipment and utility equipment. Coordinate a comprehensive rehabilitation and preventative maintenance program for rides and facilities. Insure that the park has a reliable ride program for operation. Prepare time schedules and rehab schedules. Insure that crew time, allocated budget, and rehab is accomplished in a timely, efficient manner maximizing manpower and physical resources. Provide technical leadership in trade area. Insure that generally accepted trade practices are adhered to in all applications. Provide leadership and skills that will ensure maximum productivity and efficiency. Other duties as required.

 WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Minimum one-year rides and facilities maintenance in an amusement park setting - Preferred Strong knowledge of Ride Control Systems, Main Power distribution and a working knowledge of Plumbing and HVAC. State Electrical License. Ability to uphold Guest First Standards as set forth by company policy. Must be able to read diagrams, shop drawings and other instructions provided to him or her. Must have basic tools and personal protection equipment including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses, hard hat hand tools, drills, etc. Valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age. Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures. Excellent time management skills. Strong leadership skills with a sense of teamwork and positive attitude. Great verbal communication skills and able to maintain written records. Must be able to train others. Ability and willingness to work in all-weather elements and work at heights up to 200 ft. Willingness and ability to respond to radio calls. Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings and available for overtime as needed.

OTHER NOTES:

All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole. Reports to the department Maintenance Supervisor.
