Full Time - Outpatient Therapist
Responsibilities We are looking for a Full-Time Therapist for our Oupatient Department. Hickory Trail Hospital (a UHS facility): Hickory Trail Hospital, a 86-bed behavioral health facility located just south of Dallas, has been providing quality health care to the residents of DFW since 1988. Hickory Trail Hospital provides inpatient and day treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Our professional staff individualizes care to uniquely fit the intensity and severity of each client's case and their family's needs. Because crisis occurs at all times of the day and night, our services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our Outpatient program (“Better Days” Day Hospital PHP/IOP) offers treatment for adolescents and adults Monday - Friday. Better Days has earned exceptionally high client satisfaction scores, as we have compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated therapists who take pride in their work and focus on assisting clients in successfully reaching their goals. We concentrate on promoting our mind-body-spirit therapeutic philosophy, ensuring clients are not only connected with our respected psychiatrists to address medication needs for mental health concerns, but we also offer animal-assisted therapy, music and art therapy, movement therapy, and other research-driven therapeutic approaches. For more information about Hickory Trail Hospital, please visit our website at https://www.hickorytrail.com/ Position Summary: The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for providing support to the day-to-day operations of the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs including, but not limited to administrative functions, utilization review, assessment, discharge planning, group/individual therapy, case management, and other duties related to delivering a successful program. Qualifications Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field. Experience: One (1) year experience in a psychiatric, behavioral health hospital setting preferred. Outpatient experience highly preferred. Experience may be obtained as an intern. License: Must possess a state licensure: LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPC-I, LMFT. (LCSW supervision available) Additional Requirements: CPR certification and CPI (management of aggressive behavior training).
