As a Software Engineer on our team, you’ll play a key role in supporting our digital transformation journey to build and implement large scale applications involving UIs and APIs that will be leveraged across the business. With us, you’ll be both hands-on and strategic, diving deep into code to define system behavior, and acting upon to deliver quality and scalable software solutions.
In this role, you will:
Build and implement complex, large-scale applications capable of integrating with multiple internal/external systems. Engage in development efforts across the full SDLC from design and coding through to test, build, QA, deployment, and maintenance. Independently implement and unit test the application modules Build cloud-based software solutions and support the migration of applications to the cloud. Ability to coordinate with different teams in different geographies Flexible to work in multiple projects when needed.Software Engineer with 1-3 years of working experience in Object-oriented programing language (Java) and related frameworks, APIs and databases (SQL/NoSQL).Full-stack experience is a plus – any UI-related development (React/Angular) is a plus.Working experience in REST APIs with Spring Boot.Understanding and knowledge of Routing, Dependency Injection, Web API Filters, Caching.Good to have experience in developing apps in Cloud Platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.Good understanding of Unit testing frameworks for UI & API.Experience in source control tools like GIT, Jenkins CI/CD or any other build tool.Knowledge of Apache Camel is a plus.Experience working with Jira and Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.Good to have Insurance Domain knowledge.
The pay range for the role is $92,500 to $112,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
