Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The Radiology Technologist Care Guide is responsible for patient registration, collecting payments, rooming, assisting the provider with care and treatment, preparing patients for radiologic procedures, performing x-rays, discharging, and following up with patients. It is the role of the Care Guide to companion patients and their secondary guests through the entire experience to maximize clinical excellence, reduce treatment times, and maximize the patient experience; before, during, and after the patient visit. The Care Guide is responsible for assisting the provider with front office and back office duties in the outpatient management of patients on a rotating basis. This position is a vital part of the office team that cares for patients in the clinic setting, working closely with the provider and other clinical staff. Acting as the patient advocate, the Care Guide has continuous contact with providers, patients, patient families' significant others, community agencies, and patient care staff and management. This position requires floating to various facilities. Qualifications $4500 sign on bonus OSF will invest in you on day 1! Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time that will be available for use beginning day 1. This is in addition to our generous time-off benefits.
