What you’ll be doing
Hitachi Vantara is looking for a Business Analyst to join its Global Business Operations Analytics team. Part of the Business Transformation and Integrated Operations organization, this team connects the dots across multiple business functions to drive growth, promote data-driven decision making and helps solve dynamic business problems.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering business requirements, translating them into visual wireframes, and developing dashboards and reports in PowerBI. This role requires a proactive individual who can engage with cross-functional stakeholders, understand their needs, and create intuitive and impactful visualizations that enhance decision-making.
Key responsibilities and expectations will include:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document analytical and reporting requirements. Engage with cross-functional teams, ask relevant questions, and ensure a deep understanding of business needs. Design and develop wireframes and visual mock-ups for dashboards and reports that are user-friendly and drive easy navigation and adoption. Create and maintain dashboards and reports using PowerBI, ensuring data accuracy and relevance. Perform data analysis to support business insights and decision-making. Identify opportunities to improve existing reports, reporting processes and tools.What you bring to the team
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role. Proficiency in Power BI for developing dashboards and reports. Strong understanding of data visualization principles, story boarding and best practices. Experience with SQL and data manipulation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Our Company
