Functional Controlling Professional

Are you a financial expert with a passion for controlling costs and driving efficiency? Join our dynamic Ultrasound SCM Finance team as a Financial Controller! In this role, you'll manage expenses for our Supply Chain Management and Quality & Regulatory units and be a global expert on Non-conformance costs. Your proactive approach and data proficiency will help us identify cost reduction opportunities and optimize our financial performance.



Job Description:

Support our US Headquarters with a global scope.

Manage expenses for Supply Chain Management and Quality & Regulatory functions.

Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.

Handle Period Cost forecasting and reporting.

Oversee Non-conformance cost forecasting, warranty provisions, and intercompany cross-charges.

Ideal candidates will have basic accounting knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to work with large datasets.



Responsibilities:

Conduct data pulls and variance analysis for nine cost centers within Supply Chain Management and Quality & Regulatory functions.

Control Cost Center expenses by building rapport with owners, understanding business drivers, and communicating key variances.

Prepare Period Cost summary slides, identify key variances, and gather comments.

Perform month-end and quarter-end accruals for inventory storage, royalty consumption, warranty, demo inventory, and sales order classification.

Forecast and analyze actuals for Software Royalty usage and Costs of Quality.

Manage Non-Conformance Costs (NCC) quarterly, including actuals, budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, and stakeholder presentations.

Handle ad hoc requests as needed.





Qualifications:

At least 2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related field

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related fields (Master’s preferred)

Strong business acumen and understanding of basic accounting principles

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in SAP, Jedox, or BusinessObjects (preferred)

Skilled in predictive modeling and data analysis, especially in financial settings

Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills, particularly in cost management

Proactive, self-motivated, and quick to learn

Comfortable handling large datasets and complex files

Proficiency in English

CPA or ACCA certification is a plus



Basic wage component (before tax and deductions) and other rewards: 1.500 € gross/monthly + VAR*
