Functional Delivery Manager (Data Segmentation & Activation)

 

The Functional Delivery Manager in the Data Segmentation & Activation team will be key in developing and enhancing our consumer data platform and marketing segmentation tool. This role involves managing the product backlog, translating business requirements into development tasks, and serving as a liaison between business functions and IT delivery teams.
 

You will specify requirements to ensure features meet acceptance criteria and manage priority changes for the delivery team.
 

Additionally, you will collaborate with support and market engagement teams to provide updates on new capabilities and gather feedback on user pain points. By maintaining a feedback loop, you will help drive enhancements that improve platform stability and user experience.

Position:
 

Functional Delivery Manager (Data Segmentation & Activation) will be responsible for:
 

Product Management – Lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the consumer data platform and marketing segmentation tool together with the Product Manager. Ensure proper delivery through effective planning and validation of new development Stakeholders Coordination – Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business goals Functional expert tasks - Act as an expert on the consumer data platform and marketing automation, possessing deep knowledge of the data model, platform architecture, and interactions with external data sources or systems receiving our data Documentation: Together with the functional team, create and maintain detailed product documentation, including user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria Team Development & Rotation Planning – Coordinate the external functional product team and implement a rotation system within support teams to foster knowledge expansion, engagement, and exposure to new feature development

Requirements:
 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, M&S, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering or a related field Must have business professional expertise (with relevant industry experience) in data analysis and insights generation Proven working experience in service delivery Able to collect and organize data from different sources to solve a business question Should be passionate about challenging and interrogating data and its interpretation Should be a creative thinker who can offer a new perspective to analyze data and build storytelling Must be able to present findings to both business and technical stakeholders Should be a creative thinker and propose innovative ways to look at problems by using data mining (the process of discovering new patterns from large datasets) approaches on the set of information available Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with key stakeholders across functions Acts proactively to anticipate the future implications of actual decisions Digital mindset, entrepreneurial and curious Fluent in English Ability to operate in indirect/remote teams Demonstrable experience in presentation, verbal and written communication skills Experience working with Microsoft Office, and with reporting tools such as Power BI/Tableau as well as web analytics Knowledge of major "big data" storage/data platforms (i.e. Data Lake) Experience in project management tools, agile team coordination
