To support this mission, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Functional Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic Cloud Services and Delivery (CS&D) organization at SAP in the Netherlands. As a Functional Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital transformation journey of our customers by designing and implementing scalable and innovative solutions based on SAP technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to understand business objectives, identify opportunities, and define technology strategies aligned with SAP's product portfolio. Design end-to-end enterprise solutions that meet business requirements, considering scalability, performance, security, and integration aspects. Develop architectural governance, roadmaps, and implementation plans to guide the execution of technology initiatives. Provide leadership and guidance to build architecture teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle. Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices, promoting reusability and adherence to SAP's architectural principles. Conduct technology assessments and facilitate decision-making processes to support solution adoption and investment prioritization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex business challenges, resolve technical issues, and ensure successful project delivery. Stay updated with the latest advancements in enterprise architecture and SAP offerings, actively participating in professional development activities.

 

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

Very strong knowledge in one or more Functional Domains with a proven projects record in any of the following areas where you acted as enterprise architect: Functional: Finance & Risk Supply Chain Management Manufacturing Lead to Cash Procure to Pay SAP Products and Methods Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of SAP Product Portfolio (Cloud solutions, S/4HANA, BTP, AI, ..) Industry Solutions (in related industry area) - Leverage industry and SAP reference architectures Certification / competence in one or more of the following is highly desirable: S/4HANA Functional Modules as mentioned above. Project Management (e.g., SAP Activate, SAFE) TOGAF EA Tooling Ability to work under pressure, in critical situations and under tight deadlines Ability to deliver clear, concise presentations and present complex information in a clear and precise manner Willingness and ability to travel to customers Resilience in challenging customer situations to sustain Enterprise Architecture engagements and make them successful

 
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
 

Minimal Bachelor's degree or equivalent  Current knowledge of IT trends and their impact on business strategies with specific focus on the latest SAP solutions Excellent (written and verbal) communication and presentation skills in English; Next to that we do have a strong preference for applicants with good Dutch language skills Leadership skills to create a vision and put this into action with a team

  
DESIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
 

We are looking for a balance of the following: At least 10 years of relevant experience as an Enterprise Architect or Business Architect (or similar role) Strong knowledge of S/4HANA Project- or Program management Proven knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, SAP Integration Advisory Methodology, SAP Extensibility Advisory Methodology and SAP Clean Core principles Strong preference for working experience in Industry Public Sector, Public Transportation and/or Utilities

This role is based in the Netherlands because of customer proximity requirements and we can only consider candidates which will not require a relocation.
