About the job

Our Team:

Sanofi is globally deploying its new back-office cross-functional system processes - covering Finance, SBS, Supply Chain and Trade across all GBUs - through the implementation of a Global ERP (iSHIFT project) using SAP S4/HANA technology. This Transformation program aims at:

-           Enabling Global Business Units (GBU) & Global Functions with Analytics

Common analytics by GBU and for Global functions to improve performance and cost managementTransversal data consolidation as well as more granular analysesCommon budget tools by GBU

-     Facilitating a seamless integration of planning and actual data setting-up automation in reporting to enable Global Shared Services (SBS)

Support SBS strategy by implementing an end-to-end approach (e.g. P2P fully covered by integrated Group solutions from eBuy to AP Invoicing, T&E, etc.)Opportunity to consolidate new activities in Shared Services (e.g. Master Data Management, Credit Management) and to develop global Shared Services organization models (e.g. T&E)Support reporting factories

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Transportation Expert brings his/her expertise of supply chain transportation business processes and SAP solutions, best practices and possible improvement. Transportation processes in scope including Road, Air, Sea and Rail mode of transports.The Transportation Functional Expert in Shift Project is responsible for the design and the deployment of a single technical solution of standard transportation processes into a single SAP solution for on all geographies.He/she will organize and deliver, for his/her scope of responsibility within supply chain, solution design and all project deliverables under Solution Delivery responsibility (SAP solutions design, implementation in the systems, all related documentation), for the Projects he is assigned to, for Project duration

Main responsibilities:

Design of the Solution

Provide his/her expertise of existing business processes / SAP solutions in legacy systemsCollect and consolidate from Digital regional network of experts the knowledge of as-is , best practices and possible improvementsContribute with the Business Enablement team to the Global Design or Scoping workshops in order to design the solution based on industry best practices, GBU & Global Support Functions business needsPropose adequate SAP solutions minimizing gaps with the SAP standard functionalities by challenging business requirements and specify for customizing and development the agreed solutions.Perform impact analysis for application changes for SAP and satellites applications.Collect and consolidate impacts for legacy systemsCollaborate with cross-functional streams to identify cross topics and involve them for solution designContribute to the design of transversal streams:Master data managementAnalyticsAuthorizationsProcess controlsData MigrationCollect and consolidate all information required for Infrastructure and application landscape definitionDeliver all design deliverables defined by the program and under Digital responsibility (e.g. specifications, …)Develop him/herself on the new capabilities provided by SAP S4HANA on his/her perimeter

Development and testing

Organize, complete, unit-test and document the configuration of the systemContribute with the development team to the specific developmentsOrganize, document and execute integration and system tests.Prepare and manage Familiarization sessions with Key UsersContribute to user acceptance tests and finalize the solution (address defects identified).Use properly the documentation and testing tools as defined by Digital quality department.Complete all deliverables defined by the program and under Digital responsibility (e.g. test protocols, test reports…) following iShift Rollout Deployment Kit methodology

Migration and go-live

Contribute to migration activities related to the streamDocument and execute cut-over activities related to the streamUpdate training documents & contribute to trainings on the SolutionInsure go-live support and hypercare activities

AMS

Contribute to AMS activities: provide functional expertise for complex topics and challenge / validate solution evolutions proposed by AMS team

Roll-out strategy and roadmap

Contribute to the definition of the roll-out strategyContribute to the definition of the implementation roadmap

About you

Experience:8+ years of SAP Experience.Proven experience in S4/Hana environmentAt least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations (all phases).Demonstrate a good track record in SAP Sales and Distribution, MM Materials Management, Logistics Execution Modules preferably in a Pharmaceutical / Consumer Products industry.Integration with External PartnersExport Processes (SAP GTS)Integrated process across several SAP systemsVery good general understanding of Supply chain business processes.Experience of SAP projects in complex and international environmentAt ease with Microsoft Office tools, and in general with IS toolsSoft skills:Team player, service-orientedDynamic, results drivenAble to convinceAccountability and ReliabilityRigorous, autonomousTechnical skills:Expert for SAP TM customization, writing specificationsSAP Technical skills: Basic programming concepts, debugging.Strong oral and written communication skillsActive listener, able to challenge requirementsAnalytical and synthetic, able to formalize solutions, good writing skillsEducation: Post-graduate studies: Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering/Information Technology/Finance/Supply chainLanguages: Fluent spoken and written English
