What you will be doing
Albertsons Company Incorporated is looking for the Manhattan WMS (Warehouse Management System) Functional Lead responsible for leading MAWM implementation. This position will oversee the overall stability, configuration, and support of the distribution technologies within Supply Chain applications. This user will work with the plant users both off-site and on-site. This is supervisory role requiring experience with Manhattan WMS. This role serves as a liaison between the Distribution Operations team, IT team, and supervise the functional analyst group.
The position will be based in Plano, TX or one of our main regional offices (Boise, ID, Pleasanton CA, Phoenix, AZ).
Main responsibilities
• Analyze and develop solutions addressing customer needs.
• Ability to take direction, learn processes/systems quickly and apply to deliver results based on a timeline.
• Work with businesses to understand and document requirements, determine design and approach, configure, and test various applications to deliver and support business needs.
• On-going analysis of the supply chain process to identify opportunities for process and system improvements, efficiency gains
• Document requirements, process flows, new functionality
• Ability to plan, track, escalate and deliver upon tasks and timelines assigned
• Review system design approaches to ensure they fully meet the business requirements
• Write use cases, business rules, and other artifacts such as swim lane diagrams and activity flow diagrams to effectively articulate and represent business processes, desired outcomes, and requirements
• Produce key documents, both in written and presentation formats.
• Excellent problem solver with the ability to keep many driving factors and requirements in focus.
• Monitor process and technology and provide insights into overall status.
• Expertise interfacing WMS technologies and applications to back office systems
• Module design and configuration experience.
• Past experience as an analyst for one or more WMS implementations
• Basic understanding of Manhattan WMS
• Experience in Reporting and BI is preferred
• Ability to work in a professional manner, be flexible, and handle interactions with all levels of the organization and with external clients
• Demonstrated ability to communicate well with other members of the team and with non-technical end users
• Good written and verbal communications skills are required
• Self-directed, organized, and motivated
• Up to 50% of travel is required during the deployment month
• Previous experience in participating in overnight deployments
• Previous retail preferred but not required
The salary range is $ 131,600 to $ $171,080 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.
What we are searching for
• 8-12 years- of experience with WMS Technologies (Manhattan WMS) with at least three complete life-cycle implementation experience. Hands on knowledge on MAWM Active product
• Working knowledge of API technologies and hands on skills with usage of tools like Postman
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Manufacturing, Computer Science or Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience
• Strong experience working in the Microsoft Office suite of products such as Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision under rigid time constraints.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
