Your role and responsibilities

If you want to develop your skills-set to work within the requirements of FSM (Functional Safety Management) and process automation and PLC/HMI programming, then you can be part of our fast-growing Pharma Engineering team. From day one, you will learn, connect and grow in your role as FS Junior Engineer, and you will work on complex projects for the fast-growing Danish pharma Industry. You will have overall technical involvement for projects consisting of teams with participants from several of our locations in both Denmark and abroad. We therefore expect you to be inclusive and find joy in collaborating with people from various cultural backgrounds. As FS Junior Engineer, your work and contribution will range from larger green-field projects to handling service projects on existing systems. But common is that all projects are solved in close collaboration with the customer and your colleagues. You are involved in design, programming, testing, commissioning and follow-up in executing process safety projects. The execution follows the ABB Functional Safety Management system, which is based on IEC-61508/61511 standards. As part of this, you will also be responsible for documentation and ensuring that application programming meets our customer safety requirements.Pharma is your primary focus area, but it is only a small part of ABB's overall FS focus. Besides our classic projects in industry and utilities, we are at the forefront of the green transition with promising projects in areas like renewable energy, carbon capture, and Power-To-X.You can look forward to joining a highly skilled team of professional FS experts, in one of our office locations, in Kalundborg, Ballerup or Middelfart – up to you. Your responsibilities:•\tContribute to Automation process safety systems in an international team on Pharma projects in Denmark.•\tDesign and create documentation of Automation systems according to Functional Safetystandards IEC-61508/61511.•\tConduct programming application software, HMI, installation and test for process automation safety systems•\tBe part of full project implementation from tender to commissioning and test at customer site•\tPerform trouble shooting and ad hoc support for our customers

Qualifications for the role

\tEducation as an automation technologist, marine engineer, electrical engineer or similar\tWilling to run for certification within FSM is an advantage. \tKnowledge of HAZOP, Risk assessments, LOPA and Cause/Effect etc is a plus.
