Mission
As the leader of a Functional Safety team, you will supervise a section of engineers who are responsible for the application of Functional Safety on features classified as Closures Windows Mirrors. Key outcomes for the remainder of 2025 include:
Deliver Functional Safety on the Enclosure Platform system. Deliver Functional Safety work products for 40+ Closures Windows Mirrors (CWM) features which includes developing the Feature Document, HARA, Functional Safety Concept, Safety Requirement Specification, and Safety V&V Report on all programs and architectures. Provide support to the Core Functional Safety Team for continuous improvements to the Functional Safety processes, guidelines, and trainings materials. Provide support to component supplier teams aligning to the Functional Safety process with guidance on Development Interface Agreements and aiding in the technical supplier safety assessment reviews for ASIL rated software and hardware design strategies.Enablers for Success

Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science 4+ year experience in Systems Engineering or Functional Safety and must be a demonstrated leader in that area including experience with application on vehicle program Experience using Model Based Systems Engineering toolsPreferred Requirements:
