Make an impact

Bridge is hiring an accounting analyst III or an associate I to work with our fund accounting team. The accountant will prepare financial statements for the fund and its investment entities and work with the fund controllers to manage the fund operations. The accountant will be dealing with funds under our debt strategies vertical. The primary responsibilities of the accountant will be to:

2-3 years in an accounting role, fund accounting preferredMaintain fund accounting databases.Ensure accurate and timely recording of general journal entriesDaily/Monthly/Quarterly reconciliation of investment positions and fair market valuesCalculate and record fees / Book accruals and expense itemsInteract with investment managers to resolve questions and reconciliation of differencesGenerate quarterly financial statements, accompanying notes, and supporting schedulesProvide year-end audit coordination services

What you should bring

Candidates should be highly motivated, energetic, and savvy with demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to thriving in a fast-paced client-facing role and having effective communication skills, a successful candidate should have: 

BS in Accounting required, MAcc preferredProfessional accounting experience (internships acceptable)A strong interest in private equity and a career in industry accountingCPA Certification preferred (or working toward CPA)Firm understanding of GAAP accounting concepts and principlesAdvanced MS Excel skillsStrong detail orientation
