We’re looking for an accountant to join our fund accounting team. In this role, you'll prepare financial statements for the fund and its investment groups while working closely with fund controllers to manage fund operations. You will be primarily responsible for managing funds within our investment portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage fund accounting databases.Accurately record general journal entries.Reconcile investment positions and fair market values on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.Calculate and record fees, accruals, and expense items.Collaborate with investment managers to resolve inquiries and discrepancies.Generate quarterly financial statements, including notes and supporting schedules.Coordinate year-end audit services.What you should bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred).Experience in professional accounting (internships are welcome).A strong interest in private equity and industry accounting.CPA certification preferred or actively working toward CPA certification.A solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.Detail-oriented, motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills.About Bridge:
