Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and review financial statements, close reporting packages, investment accounting, private company valuations, reconciliations, and journal entries. + Track investment data and exits with precision, producing and analyzing fund and portfolio reports. + Drive process improvement initiatives using cutting-edge tools like SQL and Apps Script to implement scalable solutions. + Support investments by reviewing portfolio company financials, creating pro-forma capitalization tables, and coordinating funding wire transfers. + Collaborate across teams, including legal, to meet tight deadlines and support the broader investment and reporting processes. Requirements Qualifications: + 2-4 years of Big 4 audit experience, particularly with venture capital clients. + CPA preferred but not required (existing team members all hold CPA credentials). + Highly detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. + Enthusiastic about process improvement and the use of technology to enhance efficiency. + Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
