Who we are looking for

Experienced Fund Accounting leader to join the North America Accounting Organization and lead a team of Fund Accountants to produce and Deliver NAVs for our clients.

What you will be responsible for

As Fund Accounting Assistant Vice President, you will:

Account for the day-to-day management of a functional team(s) and manage daily service delivery and production activities performed by staffPrimary contact and key escalation point for operational issues, provide technical expertise to resolve daily problemsAct as primary contact and escalation point for operational issuesManage and escalate issues related CoE’s and other Shared ServicesManage daily operations and production activities of the Accounting teamCoordinate the implementation of new funds, systems and processes.   Assist with client conversions and other client projectsOrganize Shared Service internal meetings, as needed, and compiles related documentation, assisting with the coordination and development of the agenda and may attend meetings to record notes and action itemsIdentify and implement consistent operational best practicesAssist with compliance/fiduciary reviews and auditsTrain, develop and motivate new staff, complete performance appraisalsProvide coaching and development opportunities to staff, participate in individual on-going training and developmentProvide technical expertise to resolve daily problemsServe on committees.  Help define and implement new company initiativesDuring the course of normal day to day operation, be responsible for identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and must report and/or escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating proceduresOther duties as assigned

Education & Preferred Qualifications

BS/BA in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience preferred5 to 7 years of experience in related accounting or finance field preferred

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $102,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
