Fund Accounting - Specialist /Senior Specialist

Responsibilities

Deliver accurate and timely production and delivery of reporting to clients by ensuring efficient and accurate trade processing, NAV review, Corporate Actions processing, security valuation, financial statements production, yields, distributions query handling and other ad hoc reporting for funds for subsequent review.Ensuring compliance with operating policies, procedures and guidelines for completion of fund accounting processes.Ensuring service level agreements, memorandums and client delivery summaries are maintained.Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting (management and regulatory reporting).Prepare annual audited accounts.Managing Funds annual Tax returns/submissions.Support annual Audit reviews.Reviewing the expenses, payments and preparing fund distributions.Reconcile various accounts or review reconciliations and promptly investigate and resolve any variances.Participate in regular rotation of accounting processes to prepare the fund accounting system for the next day.Participate in projects and ensure timely delivery of the book of work for the fund's financial year.

What we are looking for

Bachelor’s degree with exposure to finance or any other analytical course work.A minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field is required for the Senior Specialist position. Candidates with less than 5 years of experience will be considered for the Specialist role.You possess a strong knowledge of fund operations, including valuation, accounting and payment procedures.You are well versed in the MSOffice suite.You are a strong team player, organized and possess a high attention to detail.You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated analytical skillsExcellent attention to detailGood time management skills
