Core Responsibilities
1. Reviews financial statements for low to medium complexity funds for accuracy. Validates results and performs control checks to ensure accurate results from service providers. Assists in resolving data issues or requests for information.
2. Oversees, analyzes, and reviews third party provider?s financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness. Analyzes financial reports, and researches and resolves items that exceed established tolerance levels.
3. Completes fund financial statements and reports for shareholder and regulatory reporting in accordance with local regulatory reporting requirements. Acts as a central point of contact for day to day operations.
4. Identifies and documents any areas of control gaps. Recommends improvement measures and assists with the strengthening and maintenance of the internal control framework.
5. Maintains policies and procedures and identifies opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations for process improvements. Assists in implementing changes.
6. Develops an understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and ensures compliance. Keeps current on global regulatory changes that will affect fund financial statement disclosures, and works with third party service providers and auditors to develop and implement changes.
7. Facilitates the fund certification process, including scheduling and preparing necessary certification documents.
8. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
