As a Fund Servicing Associate II in the Configurations team, you will be responsible for timely and accurate onboarding and configuration setup on derivatives platform. This role provides an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area.
Job Responsibilities
Sound working knowledge of Derivative and Securities markets and processing environments with controlImplement AI automations using RPA tools like UI Path, python, Alteryx or Xceptor. The role expects the employee to have hands on experience of coding & applying automation through these tools and deploy the code in UATUnderstand historical data & provide in depth analysis and recommendations to eliminate/reduce manual matches/bookings. Understand client service type setup requirements and maintenance of all Derivatives data within 7+ Applications across the stack. Understand minimum data requirement across all OTC instruments and build digital tools during new client onboarding or instrument onboarding.Partner with Operations on BRD / User stories. Partner with Technology team / upstream teams on solution build / solution implementation. Collaborate with business subject matter experts to understand and document business processesCreate and maintain Standard operating procedures (SOP). Periodic governance scorecards to be published to all stakeholdersIdentify and document instances where existing business processes may be streamlined or improvedManage various new and ongoing Projects in the third party OTC space. Manage end to end set up for incremental fund launches. Provide regular reporting and status updates on all projects to senior stakeholdersFacilitate the delivery of a strategic, robust, scalable technology platform meeting the needs of businessLead with proven skills to lead the location, plan and execute expansion and build a strong teamBuild, sustain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders(Product/OSD/ Middle offices, Global SSO managers & leads, Regional managers), peers in locations and across global hubs and cross-LOB. Ability to work in a collaborative environment, cross-LOB partnerships and run global/x-business initiativesFocus on delivering client requirements and engaging with clients through client service and Product. Constantly upskill the team with process, business and soft skills, provide exposure to senior management. A driven people leader with passion for developing and upskilling direct managers to develops strong leaders
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
Graduate/ CA/ MBA/CFA with 10+ years experience in OTC derivatives and 5 years into transformationExperience and working knowledge of Derivatives on OTC and CFD products.Working knowledge of Digital tools like Xceptor, Alteryx & TableauStrong business acumen and proven track record for providing innovative solutions resulting in increased business performance. Broad, enterprise-wide view and understanding of strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance. Understanding of the value of process-centric approach to business analysis and capability developmentGood communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organizationContribute to the strategic development of various products within Fund Services. Identify key areas of opportunity, creating robust business cases and ensuring appropriate levels of analysis are undertaken. Implement the project structure and governance required to deliver on the agreed strategy.Quick learner and capable of grasping nuances of products and implications of their processing requirements.Participation in process re-engineering efforts for at least one medium-to-large IT related projectExperience working within cross-functional project team to understand business requirements and deliver process artifactsAbility to assimilate and correlate disconnected business documentation and drawings, and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues
Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities
Working knowledge of OTC Derivatives. Strong background knowledge of all security types (Bonds, Equities, Commodities, and Indices etc) and their accounting treatment and Derivative experience desirable.
