Funding Specialist
• Research and understand current funding opportunities (programs involving grants, loans, revolving funds, and specific earmarks) available to clients at the federal and state levels for water, wastewater and drainage related projects.
• Assess funding programs for applicability to client’s projects.
• Write reports and memorandums regarding funding programs and availability.
• Develop applications for funding programs and coordinate with funding agencies on client’s behalf.
• Attend meetings with Client Service Leaders and Project Managers to discuss funding opportunities and assist with project sales.
• Assist with writing proposals and scope of work for funding related project tasks.
• Assist with drafting marketing content relating to the funding discipline.
• Give funding presentations to clients and at organization/association meetings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with federal and state funding agencies.
• Develop strategies for utilizing new streams of revenue with clients, and track projects that have received or are positioned to receive funding.
