FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR

Summary
This position supports department operations for St. Mary’s Health System’s development office and provides executive administrative support for St. Mary’s Executive Director of Philanthropy.
The Fundraising Coordinator role will enhance the Foundation’s ability to serve donors, maintain accurate data, maintain confidentiality, and improve data-driven decision-making. This individual will actively support the Foundation team in building relationships, managing charitable funds, and fundraising efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry.
+ Manage administrative support responsibilities including but not limited to processing expense reimbursement forms, printing and organizing employee giving forms, ordering office supplies, submitting and tracking maintenance requests, contacting external vendors for servicing of office equipment, printing mailing labels for stewardship mail, preparing event materials such as name tags and placards.
+ Manage gift processing and gift acknowledgement for St. Mary’s development office for outright, recurring and multi-year pledge gift of cash, checks, credit cards, IRA transfers, payroll deduction, earned time donations, matching gifts and in-kind donations. Efficiently and accurately process gifts using multiple methods including batch, payroll deduction import, or direct entry.
+ Responsible for preparing and sending daily cash receipts to St. Mary’s Health System finance office.
+ Prepare and process check requests, purchase requisitions and travel documents and other information promptly.
+ Responsible for bank deposit activities for St. Mary’s Health System and credit card gift activity for St. Mary’s Health System, including verification of gifts received.
+ Responsible for tracking and filing multi-year capital and annual campaign pledge documentation. Manage collection of pledge/recurring payments and balances due to St. Mary’s Health System to track overall receivables.
+ Work with the business office to ensure each campaign gift is credited appropriately in the accounting system, noting any ongoing pledge payments and reminders.
+ Provide support as needed for fundraising activities including annual campaigns, cultivation and special events, and employee campaigns. Attends and participates in Foundation events.
+ Maintain positive relationships with donors, serving as a resource as needed and providing exceptional customer service, while exercising a high degree or judgment and initiative in interactions with donors, including timely resolution of any concerns regarding donor activity.
+ As part of a broader team, may be called upon to support other foundation business as related to campaigns and collaborate in other team projects.
+ Maintains all required competencies and completes annual compliance courses on time.
+ Other duties as consistent with this role.
Job Requirements
Job Knowledge and Skills
+ High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products.
+ Advanced proficiency with CRM/fundraising information systems (Raiser’s Edge)
+ Ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task and produce accurate, meaningful, and professionally formatted work products under demanding timelines.
+ Demonstrated project management, planning, facilitation, problem-solving and decision-making experience.
+ Excellent follow-up skills, accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail.

Education and Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience
+ Minimum of five years of progressive experience in fundraising information systems/database management.
