Summary:

Easterseals of Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana Counties is looking for an energetic, compassionate team player to work as the Fundraising and Development Coordinator. The right candidate for this position would work per-diem (PRN). This position will be required but not limited to:

Basic Responsibilities:

The Fundraising and Development Coordinator organizes a variety of fundraising activities and special projects to help develop the resources necessary for Easterseals to carry out its mission.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
•    Responsible for implementing, managing, and executing all fundraising and community relations events.
•    Responsible for supporting fundraising strategy, managing event logistics, implementing all details for assigned events, including silent and live auctions, training and orchestrating volunteer activities
•    Works in collaboration with the Angels of Easterseals in establishing plans with specific goals and timetables to execute fundraising events
•    Drafts event correspondence, including, but not limited to, proposals, emails, and vendor and donor presentations
•    Assist in the creation of development initiatives and campaigns
•    Develop relationships with donors and volunteers to promote fundraising for the organization
•    Maintains and updates donors’ e-mail addresses, mailing addresses, and phone numbers
•    Manage donor acknowledgment and other communication platforms
•    Ensure all advancement and fundraising policies, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, and operating protocols are in compliance
•    Represent the organization with excellent public relations
•    Collaboration with marketing and communications vendors to develop materials and communications for special events
•    Required to attend and support all organization events
•    Responsible for organizing all aspects of various fundraising activities and special projects.
•    Act as a liaison with the Angels of Easterseals in planning and implementing their annual events.
•    Develop and nurture relationships with current and potential donors, businesses, community groups, partner organizations, and volunteer groups.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and ability required.  Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

•    Minimum of 2 years experience coordinating fundraising events.
•    Experience with regulatory and accreditation standards.
•    Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
•    Must have proof of auto insurance.
•    Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

•    Experience with software programs for fundraising and development.

EQUIPMENT USED/MACHINERY REQUIRED TO OPERATE:
•    General office equipment, including computers and applicable software programs.  
•    Operate a motor vehicle safely

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
•    Frequently requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.
•    Occasionally exposed to loud/noisy environments.

Additional Notes: FLSA Status – Non-Exempt/$25.00 per hour Classification – Per Diem/PRN (0-19) hour as needed Benefits – 401K, flexible schedule Drug-Free Workplace/EOE
