Job Description: The Funds Data Services Team Leader (FDSL) plays a pivotal role in supporting the lifecycle events, data maintenance, and distribution of AB’s non-US funds. This position is based in Luxembourg and oversees Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in both Luxembourg and India. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a deep understanding of the investment management landscape across financial intermediaries and investment products. Understanding of product data (Luxembourg & Local-domiciled Funds) and how it is used in regulatory documents (KIIDS, PRIIPS) as well as with our distribution partners and reporting agencies is critical. Ability to build partnerships across borders with colleagues and external partners is critical.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of SMEs in investment fund data, ensuring team cohesion and meeting numerous deliverablesMaintain timely production of UCITS and PRIIPS Key Investor Information Documents (KIID / KID) and other EU regulatory documents (EET, EMT and EPT amongst others)Maintain a strong analytical and technical understanding of financial markets, data platforms, and registration norms of key markets of distributionMaintain expert knowledge FinDatEx regulatory templates and client-specific templates.Work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong communication and organizational skillsMaintain working knowledge of developments in the Investment Management industry that impact our data, processes, and distribution activitiesTake ownership of clear communication of activities across the channelCollaborate with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure the smooth operation of fund data servicesKey Skills:
