Furniture Asset Manager

40 hours a week

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-4p

Database

​1.  Maintain an accurate, robust database detailing all inventory residing in the warehouse. 
      This includes:
       a)  Control Number        f)  Department          k)  Previous Control # (ST)  
       b)  Image of item              g)  Owner                     l)   Status (storage, returned to site, disposed etc)
       c)  Description                  h)  Get Service #      m)  Pertinent Notes                 
       d)  Quantity                        i)  Time of arrival       n)   Size         
       e)  Origin                             j)  Item category        o)  Information from auctions

Warehouse
1.  Determine layout and inventory placement to maximize efficiency and budget
2.  Ensure all items are clearly labeled using high visibility media, color coding, and logical easy to read Control Number format.
3.  Direct warehouse attendants on tasks concerning Pfizer incoming and outgoing inventory.
4.  Pull items requested for return to site.
5.  Categorize, label, and enter information into Database for both incoming/outgoing.
6.  Maintain areas for MSAT, GTE, QCA, EMU as well as critical inventory for Asset Managers
7.  Monitor length of time items are in storage and communicate with owners suggesting audits/reviews of long-term storage.

Customer Relations
1.  Respond to all requests for Furniture information.
2.  Respond to all requests from Asset Managers, Labs, and Technicians to Store, Sell, or
      Dispose of owned inventory.  This process is as follows:
      a)  Go to location of equipment
      b)  Photograph, assign Control Number, Label, arrange for pick-up of inventory for transport
             to warehouse.
      c)  Enter information into Database.
      d)  Secure signatures for all equipment movement.
      e)  Review inventory with delegates of departments.

Auctions
1.  Work with HGP on sale viability of items.
2.  Catalog all items going to Auction.
3.  Assign HIT numbers for tracking sales.
4.  Monitor Auction activity during live bidding to track PGS items.
5.  Enter all sale information into the database.
6.  For unsold items arrange for Disposal (VIN numbers).
7.  Maintain and post Auction results. 
8.  Resolve any discrepancies.

Meetings
1.  Attend meetings as required.
      a)  Biweekly HGP to discuss Auction preparation.
      b)  Weekly JLL Move Meeting
      c)  Pfizer status meetings as requested

Communication
1.  Update Pfizer of current status, discrepancies, concerns,
      recommendations on a regular basis.
2.  Work with JLL to inform owners of Furniture status and provide specifications when requested.
3.  Keep a visual posting of yearly savings from Auctions or other means of recouping revenue.

Movement of Inventory:
For all Inventory Movement ensure that all tracking documentation is complete, signed and uploaded into the database.
1.  Incoming:
     a)  From the Site to Storage
     b)  From other warehouse locations
     c)  From a vendor to be installed at a later date
     Arrange with BBG or Sterling for equipment movement.  Ensure all documentation is completed and uploaded into the database.  Oversee the physical move and verify equipment matches paperwork.

2.  Outgoing:
      a)  Pull items from warehouse locations
      b)  Prepare a list of all inventory leaving the warehouse (upload list to database)
      c)  Ensure all items are clearly labeled to avoid confusion during the pick up
 

Documentation
       1.  Draft Project Documentation of all elements of the Storage, Maintenance, Tracking, and Execution of the responsibilities of the Equipment Asset Manager.  (Potential SOP)
