$140,000.00/Yr. - $160,000.00/Yr.Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

About This Job
The Credit Banking Policy and Governance team supports the Credit Operations team and the Chief Credit Officer. The role includes managing credit committees in terms of Credit Policy, Standard and Procedures to ensure efficient management of multi-disciplinary processes and regulatory requirements. The Policy and Governance Manager will drive the strategic vision and oversight over the framework of policy, standards and procedures. This policy will include the development, enhancement, implementation, issuance, periodic review, interlock with compliance, and oversight for Credit policy documents. This Manager will also collaborate across Business Units, Risk Management, Internal Audit and senior management across the Bank.Responsibilities:
Credit Policy Advisory and Strategy- provide guidance to 1st and 2nd Lines of Defense regarding Policy requirements, interpretations, and compliance
Policy Development- provide strategic input into the development and enhancement of all Credit Policy and Standards, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and simplification
Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities in the compliance and reviews of Policy and all related documents
Policy Implementation and Enforcement- engage with Businesses and various Functions to track and influence the implementation of Credit Policy requirements
Regulatory Engagement- lead and participate in all regulatory engagement on Credit Policy and related documents
Communication- coordinate with key stakeholders to roll-out timely communications, trainings, newsletters, etc
Lead the Management Credit Committee meetings and preparation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
8+ years of experience working in a financial institution
