Required Related Experience Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Required License/Registration/Certification N/A Physical Requirements Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 25 lbs. Shift Weekdays between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Weekends Job Summary Monitor Box Office during Open Hours Answer incoming calls on Box Office Line and assist patrons. Answer emails that come to the Box Office. Ensure that all school and public show sales are properly accounted for in daily reports between the box office staff and accounting. Maintain communication with supervisor regarding hours of availability Coordinate and ensure the smooth operation of the Front of House. Ensure theatre & lobby are clean and prepared for show and open building. Greet all guests with a smile and welcome them. Direct guests to proper entry door into the theatre. Coordinate student ushers through training and delegation of duties as necessary including program distribution and ticket taking. Assist guests in locating proper assigned seats and handle any ticket problems. Answer questions and provide guests with other information regarding the theatre. Coordinate start of show with the Stage Manager, Technical Director and other appropriate staff. Coordinate retail store sales including set up, handling of cash boxes, and updating Manager of inventory needs. Respond to all guest comments and/or complaints in a prompt and very friendly manner. Ensure that guests follow theatre safety policies and that all fire codes are enforced. Distribute promotional materials for upcoming performances to guests as they exit the theatre. Provide information and direct guests to appropriate exits in the event of an emergency. Coordinate clean up of theatre & lobby following performances. Prepare Front of House manager’s reports nightly including house counts, lost and found and patron’s feedback. Ensuring exit of all patrons and locking up building and theatre. Assist with FOH duties for Celebrity Curtain Call gala. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Students fulfilling this position should have a strong interest in customer service and enhancing the experience of our youth patrons and their caregivers, as well as a passion for the arts education of primary and intermediate students. Student should be well organized, detail-oriented and a self-starter. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience Customer Service.
