East West Bank is seeking a Junior Foreign Exchange Analyst. The Junior Foreign Exchange Analyst will report directly to the SVP Regional Foreign Exchange Sales Manager. This role will play an essential role in supporting and growing the foreign exchange business within the Cross Border customer segment, as well as the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) business lines. In this role the Junior Foreign Exchange Analyst advisor will be expected to play a critical role supporting the Cross Border and C&I teams both in marketing & business development efforts, provide world-class service to external & internal customers, and contribute to the overall sales cycle.
The position is within the FX Department based in New York. Flexibility in work hours will be needed to support our Cross Border clients but expectation initially will be from 8:00AM to 5:00PM EST. The position is hourly, and overtime should be expected.

In this sales-focused position, the FX Analyst will be expected to manage the bank’s portfolio of FX clients within commercial banking, play a critical role in marketing & business development efforts, provide world-class service to external & internal customers, and contribute to the overall sales cycle
Assist and partner with senior FX sales advisors focused primarily with our cross-border clients, which will include servicing foreign currency deposits, answering internal and external customers’ questions regarding FX products & rates, international payment needs, client relationship management (phone & in-person), generating sales reports & analytics, playing an essential role in maintenance & support of ongoing initiatives.Assist with sales outreach efforts; creating client pitch book; business development & growth initiatives which include product training, sales presentations, and marketing events. Qualifications Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word/PowerPoint a plusStrong knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables & macros highly desiredClient-service experience highly desiredPrevious banking experience preferred in International marketsFluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and/or CantoneseBachelor’s Degree in Economics or related field required Compensation The base pay range for this position is USD $25.00/Hr. - USD $33.00/Hr.
