We are looking for a Treasury Specialist managing DuPont's foreign exchange transactions and exposures across global markets. This role encompasses executing currency trades, optimizing FX hedge strategies, and maintaining relationships with financial institutions to ensure effective currency management. These efforts directly contribute to the corporation’s financial goals and strategic initiatives on a global scale.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Accurate and timely trade executions per relevant company policies including:
FX trades to support the company requirements related to:
Entities needs in on-shore markets.
Net Monetary Asset Hedge Program.
Spot trades to support various business needs.
Investment trades for the company’s excess cash:
Optimize interest income while balancing counterparty risk exposure.
Maximizing the percentage of cash invested.
Coordinate the setup of new counterparties for investments.
Legal Entity Funding transactions:
Intercompany borrowing / lending / dividends / capital injections.
External borrowing transactions.
Back-up for other dealer activities.
Working closely with other teams who provide input or require output from the process including:
Daily cash position and forecast teams.
Regional Cash Planner teams.
Capital Markets teams.
EGL Process Owner.
Derivative Accountant.
Preparation of the following reports & communications:
Monthly on-shore FX trade summary.
Monthly FX dashboard.
Monthly global investment dashboard.
Accounting review of traded instruments.
Reports required for internal controls and 10Q/10K external reporting.
Understand financial markets for FX and Rates and how their changes will impact our programs.
Constantly seek for improvement in process and systems:
Evaluate and propose new investment alternatives.
Understand current hedge market trends and propose new trade strategies.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
A successful candidate must have:
5+ years of Prior Treasury / Accounting experience is required for this role.
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels internally and externally.
Demonstrated ability to work under time pressures and to manage and prioritize multiple activities.
Demonstrated expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
Sensitive to numbers and financial items & reporting.
Education and Personal Attributes:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is required.
Power BI, SharePoint and advanced Excel modeling skills are desired.
Knowledge of Quantum, 360T and/or Bloomberg systems is a plus.
Flexible working hours to support US.
