We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Vice President in Institutional Securities Group (ISG) Fixed Income Operations to be responsible for ensuring that all risk is fully monitored and mitigated throughout the FX trade flow from front to back.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Advanced Specialist position at Vice President level within Product Support Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What you’ll do in the role:
• Manage complex processes and/or support significant process management/project efforts
• Lead in process improvement, project management or technology development and testing across multiple teams and/or divisions
• Analyze and expose ambiguous, complex issues or non-standard issues, identify risks, root causes and propose future actions, tracking through to resolution
• Build and manage relationships with business unit partners, other Morgan Stanley infrastructure departments, and external contact points in Client or Market organizations
• Manage of all phases of the Trade Settlement, including confirmation and post-settlement reconciliation
• Working closely with Clients, Sales trading to ensure all escalations are resolved promptly
• Partnering with the FX Front-to-bank functional teams across Operations Technology to ensure timely and incident-free trade settlement
• Collaborating with other business support areas such as Legal Compliance, Credit, Finance Risk Management to support delivery of business goals and new product development initiatives

• Culture carrier and role model, representing and leading the Firm's core values to influence and motivate those around you
• Previous FX back office preferred
• Appetite to drive process improvement and automation
• At least 6 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
• Ability and desire to work in a team-oriented environment, whilst possessing the confidence to work individually as a self-starter
• Minimum of 5 years experience managing a team

Salary range for the position: $93,000 - $140,000 Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
