Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals.

In capital markets accounting advisory services at PwC, you will focus on providing strategic guidance on a broad range of technical accounting, financial reporting, transaction structures and capital markets topics. You will advise clients on complex accounting advisory and financial reporting issues around deals (both public and private) and other transformational business events that may impact an organisation’s value.

Focused on relationships, you are building meaningful client connections, and learning how to manage and inspire others. Navigating increasingly complex situations, you are growing your personal brand, deepening technical expertise and awareness of your strengths. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality. Embracing increased ambiguity, you are comfortable when the path forward isn’t clear, you ask questions, and you use these moments as opportunities to grow.

Requirements :

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

Has 3 years of working experience in a public accounting firm (external audit)

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (English and Bahasa Indonesia)

Team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and project management

Able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, prioritize and handle multiple assignments under tight deadlines

Enjoy working in a collaborative environment

Having experience and knowledge of IPOs, IPO preparation and bond offerings is an advantage.

Professional certification (CPA, CA, etc) is preferred 

Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP would be an asset; has experience in applying or interpreting US GAAP or IFRS, conducting accounting research, analysis and report writing
