Position Description:

Elevate your impact as a Microsoft Windows Engineer in our IT Support Team!
Step into the world of CGI Space and thrive with our experienced team in the cosmos. We're not just another space company; we lead in Navigation, Security, Earth Observation, and Satcoms. With 500 talented professionals, we drive innovation in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and the Netherlands.

The exciting opportunity? Contributing to the development of Galileo, Europe's global satellite system comprising 22 satellites, and helping define the future of satellite technology throughout the Exploitation Phase.

Your role in our team
As a Microsoft Windows Engineer within our IT Support team, you'll embrace a substantial role in the Space unit, with a primary focus on Windows-related tasks. Your core mission revolves around nurturing the Space IT network, ensuring its seamless operation, and advancing the infrastructure. This includes the oversight of critical components like Active Directory, associated FSMO roles, Exchange Email servers, File servers, and various Virtualization servers.

Your profound expertise in Microsoft desktop and server management, coupled with your mastery of ITIL Incident Management and Problem Management, positions you as a key player in maintaining the operational readiness of the Space IT environment. You play a vital role in ensuring project success. Collaborating closely with the technical IT Lead, your responsibilities include the formulation and execution of internal IT Support strategies for each project, where you'll skillfully balance stakeholder needs, user requirements, and project objectives. Your realm of influence encompasses:

• Guaranteeing IT system availability (File/Exchange/Domain servers).
• Overseeing security aspects, including Account Management, System patching, and Network access.
• Managing business continuity through Backup and recovery/storage solutions.
• Providing IT Support for 2nd and 3rd line support needs.

Your invaluable contributions not only shape our IT landscape but also drive the triumphant outcomes of our projects, making this role an enticing opportunity for any engineer looking to make a significant impact.

How you strengthen our team
Besides a bachelor degree and a demonstrated skill in written and spoken English, particularly when collaborating within a team, you have a strong interest in Microsoft Windows technologies and IT infrastructure within a complex integrated system. Analytical skills and effective communication are key attributes needed for this role. You should be well-organized, proactive, energetic, eager to learn, a collaborative team player, and exceptionally attentive to detail.

Please note that holding an EU passport is mandatory for obtaining an EU Personal Security Clearance at the CONFIDENTIAL level, which is a part of our selection process.
