How you'll make an impact Internship designed to develop a pathway for professional athletes to a successful second career after sports, providing exposure to the types of projects and practical work experiences that apply directly to, and beyond, Gallagher and the insurance industry. This program has been customized to work with the demanding schedule of professional athletes and focused on the most important elements to a successful career, geared toward learning how to build a career from the networks that have been established during playing career. Program provides Leadership involvement and mentorship; Networking and communication development opportunities; and Insurance industry experience and exposure, with focus on showcasing competition and entrepreneurial spirit as well as developing an enterprise sales mindset. Key Responsibilities: Completion of weekly assignment checklist Shadowing 2-3 Gallagher team members during the course of the program Completing all weekly presentations and webinars Actively participate in meetings with executive leadership and practice area leaders. About You Required: Program designed distinctly for eligibility restricted to Professional Athletes directly affiliated with one of Gallagher’s Partnership teams and available to complete 20 hours/week throughout the duration of program. All candidates are required to submit an application and be willing to execute the company’s Employee Agreement which requires, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality, and non-disclosure. Travel to Gallagher HQ/Rolling Meadows, IL required. Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States required.
