Job Summary

Wilberforce University is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our athletics team as a Game Day Stats Person. This role involves collecting and maintaining accurate statistics for our men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and volleyball teams during game days. This is a part-time/seasonal role that requires presence at both home and possibly some away games.

This position will provide an opportunity to be an integral part of the Wilberforce University Athletics community while gaining experience in Sports Management and Statistics. It also allows the individual to work in a dynamic and exciting game-day environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Accurately record live game statistics for designated sports. Maintain detailed records and ensure data integrity. Collaborate with coaches, staff, and media to provide timely statistical reports. Assist in updating and verifying stats data on digital platforms and records. Ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and protocols for sports statistics. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of basketball, baseball, and volleyball rules and terminology. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Familiarity with statistical software or tools preferred. Ability to multitask and work under pressure during live games. Minimum Qualifications Experience in working with Presto Game Software or related products is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Availability during evenings, weekends, and some holidays to cover game schedules.
