JOB SUMMARY: Seeking an experienced and innovative Game Mathematician to spearhead the mathematical concepts and algorithms that form the foundation of our engaging slot games. As a pivotal member of our game development team, you will utilize your deep understanding of probability, statistics, and game theory to create compelling game mathematics that ensure both player engagement and business profitability. Your expertise will not only shape the mathematical integrity of our games but also influence the overall direction of new game features and mechanics.

May be required to supervise and mentor game mathematicians in the future

 

ESSENTIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Work closely with the game design team to integrate mathematical models that enhance gameplay and player experience. Develop, iterate, and implement complex mathematical models that define game outcomes, payouts, and feature odds while ensuring that these models meet regulatory compliance standards Use simulation tools to test game models and analyze game behavior under various scenarios. Provide detailed reports on game metrics and performance predictions Foster an environment of continuous learning and innovation Collaborate with software developers, graphic artists, sound designers, and quality assurance teams to ensure the seamless integration of mathematical models with game assets and functionality. Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in game mathematics, incorporating innovative concepts into game designs. Conduct ongoing research to enhance game features and player satisfaction. Ensure all mathematical models comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Prepare documentation and assist with the certification processes as needed

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

A Masters in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field preferred 3+ years of experience in game mathematics or a similar role within the slot game development industry or relevant higher education Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to develop complex mathematical models Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or R for mathematical modeling and simulation Leadership and team education abilities Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey complex mathematical concepts to non-technical stakeholders A passion for games and a keen interest in game design and development
