Gaming Floor Cash Collections Representative

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the Count Room Supervisor the Gaming Floor Cash Collections Representative is responsible for the rigorous task of collecting all currency boxes from the casino floor, managing the transport, and accounting for all currency collected. 

 JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for the collection of all drop boxes from the gaming floor and placing them on a designated cart for transport to the count room. Pulls bill validator boxes, ensuring each box is accounted for before and after the drop process. Responsible for the loading of coin/currency and accounting of dropped funds for all the casino floor ticket redemption kiosks. Weighs/counts individual buckets and records weighed buckets into the scale with proper machine numbers. Performs emergency drops of bill validators. Counts, sorts and organizes all currency, coins, coupons, chips and paperwork from the drop boxes. Retrieves drop boxes from the storage area and appropriately stores all boxes. Inserts and removes currency from counting machines; operates the machines. Straps and hand-stamp money bundles Totals all cash, chips and coupons by shift and by day/date. Enters necessary information into all internal systems. Accounts for all keys used to perform slot machine drops. Verifies wrap totals; researches and explains variances. Completes all paperwork accurately and delivers it to the appropriate department in a timely manner. Counts Slot Operations Blind Drops Maintains Count Room in a clean and orderly fashion. Follows safety and security guidelines and adheres to department procedures. When a slot machine is being played at the time of a coin drop, uses excellent customer service skills to communicate to guest what is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

6+ months previous money handling experience Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and can push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel. Excellent Math Skills Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed. Basic computer skills (basic word and excel skills are necessary) Above average organizational abilities for sorting money, chips, coupons, and other paperwork.
