General Summary:

Provides operational support based on knowledge of relevant business systems, products, processes, and procedures and supports operational activities for business growth. Contributes to and updates plans and monitors, collects, and analyzes program/product metrics (e.g., forecasts, budgets, demands, KPIs). Establishes market baselines and contributes to forecasting analyses, processes, and reports, and addresses supply/demand related issues. Contributes to pricing execution and resolves pricing and rebate issues. Formally presents and communicates key metrics and findings.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 2+ years of business operations or related experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of business operations or related experience.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Payroll Accountant will be overall responsible for end-to-end payroll process for Indian Employees which includes collecting/providing payroll data to payroll vendors, reviewing payroll reports, disbursement of payroll, taking care of payroll compliances, and month end activities.

This position calls for someone with a profound knowledge in India Payroll with high accuracy, Inter-personal, uplifting attitude, assertive style and prioritization skills, pro-active work approach, being flexible and hands-on combined with very good accounting skills but also be organized, being able to multitask, prioritize and a team player with an open and positive mind.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

You need to be a team player and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure payrolls are processed on a timely and accurate manner.Vendor managed payroll experience with knowledge in SAP, workday will be a plusResponsible for Payroll Queries on Servicenow Ticketing tools & updating Knowledge articles.Should handle Equity transactions through payroll - Stocks. RSU & ESPPTaking On boarding & Off boarding sessionsCalculating term recoveries, collection of due amounts.Review data on new hires, terminations, employment status changes, tax bracket changes, deductions, retroactive adjustments, special pay, etc.Responsible for providing the information and coordinating with Vendors/ Payroll Systems / auditors / stake holdersGood in payroll reconciliations and closures. Process and reconcile all payroll related statutory deductions, onetime payments & recoveriesEnsure periodical and annual payroll tax filings are complete and accurate and filed timelySupport Internal and External Payroll AuditsShould be proactive in handling and closing yearend activities of payroll till delivery of Yearend Form 16Assist with special projects as needed

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in commerce (preferred)4-6 years of experience in Indian Payroll processFluent in English (written and verbal)Experience in working for a multinational corporation (required)ADP Global view platforms (including Streamline and Global View) experience a plus

Skilled in payroll process, principles, and terminologySelf-motivated and independent thinker with excellent time management skillsFamiliar with Oracle Finance modulesKnowledge in concepts associated with accounting principles and payroll policies with the ability to apply them to various situationsExcellent review and analytical skills, with attention for detail and accuracyStrong communication skills and effective in working directly with employees and payroll partnersAble to recommend new approaches, methods, alternative processes or solutions for payrollAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and must be able to work as needed to meet deadlinesCompetent in writing email payroll processing status reports to payroll managementProficient in basic application programs (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
