PTI is part of Perdue Farms, a family-owned company heading into its second century of growth and innovation. **Summary** Manages the operations of assigned garage. **Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Manages assigned garage staff to include hiring, training, and developing the staff to meet the needs of the department. + Ensures safe working conditions for all associates. + Ensures quality of repairs is in accordance with customer requirements, OEM specifications and DOT regulations. + Manages the department operations to ensure costs are within established operating budgets. **Minimum Education** High School Graduate or GED BS Degree preferred (Management) **Experience** + 3 - 5 years management experience + Understanding of mechanical processes + Understanding of standard software applications + Strong math, communication, analytical and organizational skills + Strong interpersonal skills. + Knowledge of standard computer software applications + Class A CDL preferred + Mechanical experience preferred **Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements** Able to move freely throughout the garage facility to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 50'), carrying tools and equipment (0-100 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
