Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities to make informed purchasing decisions. Monitor competitors' strategies related to sourcing and purchasing of materials. Supplier Identification and Evaluation: Identify potential suppliers for raw materials, fabrics, trims, and accessories. Evaluate suppliers based on quality, reliability, pricing, lead times, and ethical practices. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company. Cost Management: Implement cost-saving strategies and propose alternative materials and suppliers without compromising on quality or production timelines. Monitor and analyze material costs to identify opportunities for cost optimization. Provide monthly expense report and price matrix of raw materials. Inventory Management: Coordinate with production planning teams to forecast material requirements and maintain optimal inventory levels. Implement inventory management best practices to minimize excess inventory and stockouts. Develop and maintain relationships with logistics partners for efficient material handling and delivery.
