ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Cotton On Group continues to grow, we are always looking to network with talented and experienced Garment Technicians. Our Garment Technicians are responsible for ensuring the consistency of fit and size across the categories and brand resulting in great product, fit, quality, lead times and margin, while maintaining commercial standards. We look to you to liaise with suppliers to ensure that garment expectations are being met, while focusing on securing ‘Best Fit’ practises that align with Cotton On Group and which meet our customers’ expectations. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

•    Degree / qualification in relevant field i.e. Fashion Design, Clothing/Textile Production
•    Demonstrated experience working in a Garment Technician role with a global retailer
•    Firsthand experience working directly with international suppliers
•    Extensive knowledge of garment fit, pattern making, garment construction, compositions, fabric and fibre, as well as accurate garment measuring skills
•    High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with ability to multi-task and prioritise 
•    Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
